The full collection of Roché pastels, now at 1,904 colours (as of September 15th, 2023), is the largest range of pastels ever created. It took Isabelle Roché and Margaret Zayer a combined 33 years of work to craft this collection, which is equal parts revival of the historic Roché collection of around 1,650 colours from the 1930s, and new developments inspired by modern pigments and recent exchanges with artists. All of the pastels are crafted by hand, with each stick individually rolled and labeled with a hand-written reference number. The collection is packaged in three custom-made French oak chests whose drawers can be removed, covering a length of over 10ft of table. There is a 25% percent discount on the price of the sticks when purchased as a full collection.
